Starting Our Work Together

Thank you for getting in touch with our practice. We are looking forward to supporting you on your journey.

Here is some information about our practice, what to expect from us, and how we hope to work together.

Working together

  • At MAPP, we employ a collaborative working model with our clients in our practice. Your input and opinion are important to us.
  • Whilst we may not always ‘get it right’, we endeavour to provide a supportive space for honest and transparent conversations.
  • We value your feedback, so please feel free to share with us your thoughts.
  • If you wish to end a piece of work before the agreed date, please let us know and we would appreciate the opportunity to explore what we could have done differently.
  • In certain situations, we might also be able to signpost you to other practices, who are better placed to support you.
  • Ultimately, we wish to ensure that the care we provide is meeting your needs and moving you towards your goals.

Appointments and cancellations

  • We understand that sometimes life happens and you may no longer be able to attend an appointment. Please do let us know at the earliest possible instance to rearrange your appointment.
  • For ongoing therapy sessions, cancellations within 7 days of your appointment can incur a cost equivalent to the full price of your session. This is because your therapy slot is especially reserved for you.
  • For assessment appointments, the appointment will be charged if cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment.

Payments

  • Payments for your assessment or therapy session can be made via bank transfer.
  • If you wish, we can take your card payment details over the telephone (or via email) and directly charge your card. Your payment details are stored on our Stripe account.
  • Payments for assessment are due on the day of the initial appointment. If you wish to pay in installments, please discuss this with us.
  • Payments for therapy sessions are due on the day of your meeting.

Your information

  • We take your information and privacy seriously. We store your information securely.
  • We may carry out audits or research studies on questionnaires you have completed to improve our service. The data will be used anonymously without identifiable information.
  • If you have any questions, please let us know.
