Consultation
Expertise, exactly where it is needed.
Diagnosis is one moment. Understanding is a practice. Our consultation work makes MAPP’s senior expertise available beyond the assessment room: to families designing a life that works, to fellow health professionals facing a complex question, and to organisations supporting neurodivergent colleagues well. Every consultation is conducted personally by a senior clinician.
Four doors
Choose the one that sounds most like you.
For individuals
For high-achieving, high-masking and newly diagnosed autistic adults: senior clinical thinking about your particular mind, with or without a diagnosis.
For families and couples
Understanding and sustainable strategies for the way your family’s minds work: at home, at school, and between partners.
For organisations
Discreet, senior-level advice on supporting neurodivergent colleagues, from the boardroom to occupational health.
For health professionals
Second opinions, supervision and complex case consultation from clinicians who lead NHS autism services.
Consultation is advisory and planned; it is not emergency or crisis provision. If you need urgent support, contact your GP, NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
Begin
You do not have to choose the right door.
If none of these fits neatly, or choosing feels like a task in itself, simply write to us with a sentence or two about your situation and we will guide you from there. You are also welcome to a complimentary ten-minute call before booking anything. A senior clinician replies within two business days.
